Cathy Oviedo, from Orange County was on her lunch at work, heading to a fast food restaurant when she decided to pick up some lottery tickets on the way which she later found out were worth a total of $500,000. She purchased the tickets from Rome in Liquor, which is located at 6265 Auto Center Drive which is in Buena Park – Orange County before heading off to buy her lunch. Whilst in the queue at the drive-thru, she decided to utilise her time and scratch off her ticket which was a $10 Triple Jackpot Scratchers ticket from the California Lottery and it only took a few minutes for her to believe what she was seeing. 

Tayeb Souami, a 55-year-old accountant from New Jersey was smiling ear to ear after finding out he was the sole winner of a $315.3 million jackpot with Powerball. Souami, told the story of how he was going to do some work, but was distracted by the fact that his car was so dirty, and it was best to go to the car-wash first. On the journey, he spotted a seven-eleven store – which inspired him to check the ticket’s he’d bought earlier using the machine, the first ticket was not a winner, but the second ticket said that it must be seen by a retailer to confirm it’s worth. Bringing it to the clerk, the clerk said “Oh my god, oh my god” over and over again as he saw the amount on the screen. The winning ticket was originally purchased from ShopRite, which is located at South River Street in Hackensack and matched the numbers: 3, 6, 9, 17, and 56 as well as the Powerball number 25.

Adrian Simmons is feeling really excited for his future following a lottery win of $750,000 which has made all his dreams come true. Jeffrey Ford, from Adrian made the best decision ever when he bought some lottery tickets on his way to a baseball game after later finding out they were worth $136,000 following a split with another lottery winner. Ford, was making his way to the ballpark when he decided to stop at Casey’s general store to buy a few drinks for the game as well as gas, but then he had the thought of buying a few lottery tickets since he was there because why not? It turned out, that his Quick Pick ticket with the Missouri Lottery matched up all five numbers which were: 2, 17, 22, 30 and 34 – the jackpot was originally worth $272,000, however another player from St. Charles also matches these same numbers so they prize was halved between them.

Joseph Loney, from Winthrop Harbor was ecstatic to found out that he had won a $40,000 Prize with Mega Millions after scratching off his Megaplier ticket earlier this month. Loney, a retired war veteran purchased his ticket from the Jewel which is located at 1400 21st St, in Zion and shortly after, scratched it off to find that the ticket matched up four of the five numbers as well as the main Mega Ball number – the numbers on the ticket were: 2, 7, 20, 55 and 70 as well as Mega Ball number 1. However, his luck did not end here as he also had a Megaplier number of four which quadrupled his prize amount!
