In an unusual chain of events, some spare charge in the pocket led to the most unexpected gift for a couple from Bonne Terre. It was back at the start of May, when Gerald and Norma Rokan were travelling home from church and decided to stop off at a store on the way, the store was Chuck and BJ’s which is located at 919 Benham Street in Bonne Terre. Whilst there, Rokan picked up a few Powerball Quick Pick tickets after discovering he had a spare five and a single, however just as the lady was getting the tickets out – he found that he had another $2 in his pocket which might as well be spent on taking another chance on winning as this seemed like an indicator! And sure enough, later on he realised that the fourth ticket he bought matched up all 5 white ball numbers which was worth $1,000,000 in winnings!

A 56-year-old man, from Newark who has chosen to keep his identity anonymous has had the best weekend ever after finding out he has won $1,000,000 with a Mega Millions drawing. The man explained, how he has been playing with the Delaware lottery since the 1990’s and fast forward to now he has matched up five white balls with the Mega Millions ticket that he bought at Skyway One in Newark. In relation to this, the winner says that he has always purchased multiple types of tickets to maximise his chances of winning – for example in this scenario he had also bought a Powerball ticket and a PLAY 3 ticket, both with Quick Pick. When scanning the ticket, he says that his feelings where a mix of being overwhelmed and in a state of shock in trying to understand that this was his reality.

Dana Fangohr, from Gravois Mills which is in the County of Missouri is feeling like a very lucky man after realising he has $55,555 more to his name! Fangohr, wasn’t really meant to be out buying lottery tickets at the time, however the tickets diverted his attention when his wife sent him out to grab some milk from the shop and bought several from both the petrol station and a supermarket. He purchased $25 worth of scratchers tickets, with the winning one being a 5X Bingo game of Missouri Lottery from G-2-M Supermart which is located at 220 N. Main Street in Gravois Mills. Ruth Wright, from Kingman which is in Kansas has recently found out that her little lottery expenditure has brought her a return of not 1, but 3 winning tickets!
