A family, located just outside Dublin, in Ireland have anonymously come forward to claim the largest Lotto jackpot ever won by an Irish ticket-holder which is worth a staggering $198,700,000 with Euro Millions! The winning ticket was purchased from Reilly’s Daybreak, which is located in Naul – just north of Dublin and had all the matching numbers which were: 1, 8, 18, 19, 39 and the Lucky Star numbers of 9 and 7 which were drawn not long ago in Paris. The way the family found out they’d won was by chance, as one of them was watching the RTE news when it was announced that there was a big winner in Ireland and they managed to see 3 of the winning numbers. This obviously spurred them to go check the rest of the numbers they had, and they realised they’d won. Although, this was such a huge shock that it took a lot of convincing for everyone in the family to believe it. Once everyone got around to the news, their next port of call was hiding the winning ticket in an Argos catalogue, and then placing that under a mattress before delivering it to lottery headquarters for verification in Ireland soon after. Talking about how these events felt, they didn’t sleep for ages and spent considerable time organising themselves. As a family, they said that they are all very close and meet every week as well as going on vacation together every year.
