Giovanni Escamilla, 19, from South Bay hasn’t even finished with his education but he has $1,000,000 more to his name after winning with a California Black Premium scratchers ticket! Escamilla, was at a gas station with his father – which was the Cochrane Food Mart & Carwash located at 851 Cochran Road in Santa Clara County when they decided to buy some drinks as well as a few scratch-off tickets in the process. Escamilla explained that he was not someone that played the lottery on a regular basis, so on this occasion he wasn’t even sure if he had won or not so he used the new California Lottery app to check his ticket, and there it was in front of him “You’re a winner! You have won $1,000,000” on his phone. 

Cheyenne Long, from Kalispell in Montana is thankful for the universe working in her favour after finding out she had won $77,000 from TWO lottery tickets in one day. Upon entering the ticket into the system, he found out the $5 investment had brought him in the top $50,000 lottery prize. 

Michael and Virginia Owens from Tonganoxie in Kansas have finally received a big break with their habit of playing the lottery after finding out their paper-jammed Kansas Lottery ticket was worth $22,000. A man, from Australia who has opted to keep his identity anonymous disclosed how he had a winning lottery ticket worth $1,500,000 in front of him for five weeks without realising. The man, who is from The Katherine, Northern Territory explained how he had purchased a 50-game Quick Pick with the TattsLotto from Katherine Exposure Photographics and placed the ticket on his fridge – without scratching it off. He said that he heard someone had won in his town however he didn't even think of the possibility that it could be him. Victor Argueta, from Los Angeles only had the intention of paying for some gas, when he found out that he had won $1,000,000 with the California lottery. Argueta, pumped his gas at an L.A Shell gas station which is located at 1107 South Hacienda in Hacienda Heights – but realised the machine hadn't printed a receipt for him so he popped into the store to get a new one. In the store, he was at the register when a $10 Plu$ the Money Scratchers ticket caught his eye and prompted him to buy a single ticket. He scratched it off immediately, eager to find out if he had won, and there it was in front of him – a $1,000,000 prize!
