Rosie Martin of Memphis, Tennessee, has won $200,000 in Powerball draw held on July the 16th, 2008. Having first seen the winning numbers in the morning paper Rosie could not believe her eyes and kept checking them over and over. To make sure this was not a dream she went to a store where she bought the winning ticket. How amazed she was to discover that she did become a Powerball’s second-tier prize winner having correctly matched all five white balls for the $200,000 prize.
Having come together with her husband and daughter-in-law to claim the prize Rosie imparted her further plans on spending the win. Being a passionate teacher at Fox Meadow Elementary School she decided to carry on working and save the money for pension due in a few years.
