A Missouri resident who won $50,000 back in 2002 came back to the lottery officials 18 years later to collect a whopping $3 million lottery jackpot.
Anne Kasal explained to the Missouri Lottery officials that she purchased her Lotto ticket for the March 11 drawing at the local Schnucks Market at 5055 Arsenal St. in St. Louis.
Her lottery ticket had all six winning numbers of 11, 16, 23, 26, 31, and 38.
"I play all the games," Kasal shared. "I bought the same tickets as I always buy, and one happened to be lucky."
Anne Kasal was nominated the 542nd lottery millionaire in Missouri. Her first visit to Missouri Lottery headquarters happened in 2002 when she became a winner of a $50,000 lottery jackpot.
During the year, residents in St. Louis received over $40.3 million in lottery prizes. Bonuses and commissions to the local retailers exceeded $4.1 million, Lottery officials state.
