The California Lottery’s Security and Law Enforcement Division, working with the Pleasant Hill Police Department, arrested a resident of Pleasant Hill for the theft of hundreds of dollars worth of Hot Spot tickets from several Lottery retailers in the area.

Robert Wayne Ladd, also known as the “Hot Spot Bandit” was arrested June 10th and charged with 9 counts of burglary.

Another classic example of the old saying: “Crime doesn’t pay.” Guess crime doesn’t pay for lottery players, either!
