Mega Millions winner- Mark Staffa ImageGeorgia resident  Mark Staffa, 33, matched all five winning numbers of 16-19-39-42-44 and the Mega Ball of 38 in Tuesday’s Mega Millions drawing and won a $42 million jackpot.

Having bought his winning ticket at Scott’s Market, located at 2515 Gold Mine Road in Dallas, Ga., he had no clue what would be expecting for him on Wednesday morning.

Being a Software Development Engineer, Staffa did not watch the draw on TV but instead checked the Mega Millions Web site in the morning following the game.

“I couldn’t stand up. I just sat there,” he said. “My body went kind of numb. I started breathing erratically, I guess.”

His further plans include helping his parents retire and travelling around the world, especially around Europe.

The reason behind the European tour is to visit LEGOLAND. “I’ve been a LEGO builder my whole life and LEGO was established in Denmark,” he shared.

“I still can’t believe it...” he sighed.
