Giovanni Escamilla, 19, from South Bay hasn’t even finished with his education but he has $1,000,000 more to his name after winning with a California Black Premium scratchers ticket! Escamilla, was at a gas station with his father – which was the Cochrane Food Mart & Carwash located at 851 Cochran Road in Santa Clara County when they decided to buy some drinks as well as a few scratch-off tickets in the process. Escamilla explained that he was not someone that played the lottery on a regular basis, so on this occasion he wasn’t even sure if he had won or not so he used the new California Lottery app to check his ticket, and there it was in front of him “You’re a winner! You have won $1,000,000” on his phone. He explained, as a young student he isn’t completely decided on what he is going to do with the money but one thing he knows for sure is he will use the prize to make even more money for himself and his future. Intelligent Decision! The retailer will also be receiving a $5,000 financial incentive just for selling the winning ticket. All the best to the lucky, young man.
