Terry Splawn, from North Carolina has overcome unfathomable odds after winning a second $1,000,000 lottery prize, from the very same retailer in a little under 2 years. Splawn, won his first prize back in April 2017 with a Millionaire Bucks ticket which he bought from Sam’s Mini Stop. Fast forward to 2019 he went back to the same store which is located on Old Charlotte Road, in Concord and purchased a $150 Million Cash Explosion ticket, which is a scratch-off ticket and soon found out that he'd won $1,000,000 all over again. “I can’t believe I won the lottery not once, but twice!... I just thought, this can’t be happening”, it’s not impossible but it’s definitely a rare case of luck, said a UNC-Chapel Hill statistics professor, by the name of Jan Hannig as this occurrence beats odds of 1 in 1.8 million, and that’s just the odds for the lottery win that happened this year, let alone the combination of both the tickets together. 

Steven Repp, from West Frankfort is sure going to enjoy retirement a lot more now that he’s won a whole $2,000,000 with the Illinois Lottery! Repp, a retired Navy veteran purchased his 100X ticket for $20 from Circle K, which is located at 1300 W. Mains Street in West Frankfort and was having a good old chat with the employees and forgot all about the ticket he hadn’t yet scratched. He explained that he always checks for a matching number first before he bothers scratching the prizes, and on this occasion, he saw that he had the number 11. Instantly, he called up his wife and told her that he was having a heart attack so she needed to come save him. When he showed her the ticket, she was ecstatic even though initially she thought it was a $200,000 prize, little did she know it was 10 times that amount... 

Diego Caceres, 25 from Riverdale in Utah had his life fortune come into fruition (literally) after winning a $100,000 lottery prize with the Maryland Lottery! Caceres, told the story of how he was out for lunch with his brother at a Chinese buffet and was given a fortune cookie, upon reading the message inside, the cookie told him that this was a day of luck for him. With this in mind, the two brothers later went to a 7-Eleven shop, which was located at 5415 Kenilworth Avenue and Diego, thinking of the fortune cookie borrowed $10 off his brother to purchase a Power 8’s scratch-off. This was actually pretty unusual for him as previously he’s only ever purchased one Maryland instant ticket and he didn’t win anything which put him off playing in the future. “I have to credit my brother. He loaned me the money” Diego exclaimed, if it wasn’t for his brother’s kindness that day, maybe he wouldn’t be where he is now, which is a whole $100,000 richer! 

A family, located just outside Dublin, in Ireland have anonymously come forward to claim the largest Lotto jackpot ever won by an Irish ticket-holder which is worth a staggering $198,700,000 with Euro Millions! The winning ticket was purchased from Reilly’s Daybreak, which is located in Naul – just north of Dublin and had all the matching numbers which were: 1, 8, 18, 19, 39 and the Lucky Star numbers of 9 and 7 which were drawn not long ago in Paris. The way the family found out they’d won was by chance, as one of them was watching the RTE news when it was announced that there was a big winner in Ireland and they managed to see 3 of the winning numbers. This obviously spurred them to go check the rest of the numbers they had, and they realised they’d won. 

Judith Smith, a park ranger from New Jersey who resides in New York has had the biggest surprise of her life, removing all her professional and personal worries after finding out that she has won a $29,500,000 lottery prize with the New Jersey Lottery! Smith, originally purchased her ticket, which was a Pick 6 ticket back in December from Eddy’s Wins and Liquors, which is located on Avenue C in Bayonne. William Smith, Judith’s son explained how it felt in that moment that he scratched the ticket, “When I read it the first time, you know, and then you’re like, wait a minute, this can’t be though” he thought to himself. William, then went on to check his conclusions about the winning ticket by scanning it, and what do you know... the scanner told him that he had to speak to the clerk to file a claim, which already gave away the fact that the prize was definitely over $500? 

A woman, 42, who has opted to remain anonymous from Lansing, in Michigan was super happy to find out that she had won not one, not two, but 3 LARGE LOTTERY PRIZES all in one day. The lady told the story of how she originally bought her tickets from Kartar Liquor, which is located at 6200 South Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard in Lansing, and used a complete range of numbers which were carefully selected, consisting of birthday numbers and also a few random numbers too. The lady explained how she always plays her Keno numbers, around 3-4 times a week, and having won nothing all this time. She said that she was very close to giving up, but she decided to purchase those last few tickets to really test her luck. Jason Goreski, 48 from Ontario in Canada has just stepped forward as the winner of a $33,000,000 Lottery prize with the Ontario Lottery. Goreski, who is a father of two, bought his winning ticket from Circle K, which is located on 9th Street in Owen Sounds, and was just about to head out to drive up to the beautiful Bruce Peninsula, to look at some dream cottages for him and his family when he decided to check the ticket. He then saw that he’d matched up four numbers already, and began shaking with excitement, and right after that – he saw that he’d matched up the last two numbers as well, which is when things became “hectic” he said. Goreski, was waiting for his kids, and girlfriend to get ready when this all happened, so he called his girlfriend over to double-check for him, and she was just as shocked as he was.
