The jackpot in America’s favorite lottery game continues to get bigger and bigger. Even though the grand prize was not awarded Saturday evening, a lucky ticket in Indiana matched all 5 white numbers with the Power Play and won $1 million cash! This was a result of the new Power Play feature that turns any match 5 white ball win with the Power Play into a 5X multiplier and pushes the prize up to $1 million! Two tickets from Kansas and Pennsylvania matched 5 white balls and won $200,000 cash each. In addition, 610,531 tickets across the nation won a total of $4,746,428 in prizes!
Because no one correctly matched all six numbers in Saturday’s drawing the jackpot will grow to an estimated $76 million!
The cash option for the Wednesday, January 27th drawing will be an estimated $37.8 million.
Mega Millions:
Nine lucky players each matched 5 of the 6 lotto numbers on the January 22nd, 2010 drawing and won $250,000 in cash and prizes!
