The jackpot in America’s favorite lottery game continues to grow. Even though the grand prize was not awarded Saturday evening, two lucky tickets matched all 5 white numbers with the Power Play and won $1 million cash each!
Three additional tickets matched all 5 white numbers without the Power Play and won $200,000 each. In addition, 664,611 tickets across the nation won a total of $6,975,775 in prizes. Because no one correctly matched all six numbers in Saturday’s drawing the jackpot will grow to an estimated $106 million!
The cash option for the Wednesday, December 23rd drawing will be an estimated $53.1 million.
Florida Lottery:
The Florida Lottery announced on December 15th, 2009 that Justin Smith, 26, of Spring, TX, claimed $10,000 from the POWERBALL drawing held on December 5!
The Florida Lottery was recently named State Agency of the Year by the Florida Department of Management Services at their 2009 Matchmaker Conference and Trade Fair. The annual event was held November 17-19, 2009. The awards, which are presented by the Office of Supplier Diversity, recognize minority-owned businesses as well as corporate and government partners.

"Make Me a Millionaire," the California Lottery’s TV game show, awarded 12 lucky contestants a total of $86,500 in cash and prizes on this week’s show.
With the Millionaire game’s progressive jackpot increasing $200,000 each week, next week’s Millionaire game contestant will have a chance to win $2.8 million.
