There was one grand prize Powerball jackpot winner in the drawing held Saturday 6/20. The winning ticket, worth a whopping $88,100,000, was sold by the North Carolina Lottery.
The winning numbers for the 6/20 Powerball drawing were: 3-11-18-22-28-33.
Besides the lucky jackpot winner, there were almost 640,000 other lucky players across the USA!
The next drawing will be Wednesday, June 24th with an estimated jackpot of $20 million.
California Lottery:
The California Lottery's TV game show, "Make Me a Millionaire," awarded $117,000 in cash and prizes to 12 lucky contestants this past week!
One very lucky player in California is $113,669 richer after matching all five numbers in last Monday night’s Fantasy 5 draw.
Mega Millions:
A New York family has claimed the $35 million dollar grand prize from the May 29th drawing. Abraham Silverbush, a 77 year old upholsterer from Syracuse, NY, said that he has worked multiple jobs all his life to support his family. He also stated that his family---a wife and five children---uses a “secret system” and pools their money to buy lottery tickets, so they will all share the winnings.
The next Mega Millions drawing will be June 23rd, 2009; with an estimated grand prize jackpot of $68 million.
Florida Lottery:
The next Florida Lotto drawing will be Wednesday, June 24th, with an estimated jackpot of $28 million.
There will be 7 new millionaires on July 4th in the Firecracker Millionaire Raffle.
