Couple Claim $5.2M With The New Jersey Lottery!

Thursday, February 23, 2017

Sam, and Kathy, a couple from New Jersey are coming to terms with the wonderful reality of winning $5.2 million. The couple have won the Pick Six jackpot, with the winning numbers: 5, 9, 10, 18, 21 and 26, alongside the XTRA multiplier of 3. Talking about how they picked these numbers, Sam stated "I played each of the Grandkids' birthdays, which I have 5 and she said we need another number. So we got 5 grand kids so we make it 5,". They purchased their ticket at Rachel's Deli, which is located in Pennsville, New Jersey and they aren't the first big winners at this retailer. Previously, a man called Michael Fisher won $1,000,000 in May of 2013, coincidentally, he happens to know Sam and Kathy and gave them this advice: "Be wise with it and don't try to spend too quickly because Uncle Sam wants to get his hands in it before it's all over with it,". However Sam, who previously served in the Marines, and Kathy who is a former power plant employee say they have no plans to be extravagant with their spending. They are going to put their children first, to pay off debts, and bills and ensuring their houses are paid for. The lottery retailer will also receive a financial bonus of $10,000 just for selling the winning ticket.
