Indiana resident matched all five winning numbers of 2, 5, 9, 23, 59 and the Powerball of 26 during the Powerball drawing held on Saturday, the 17th of January, 2009. He can now claim $163.2 million lottery winning and will need to choose between cash “lump sum” amount of $97,966,541or 29-year, 30-installment annuity of the full winning sum less taxes and other expenses.
Two other players from South Dakota and Tennessee matched all 5 white ball numbers. They are due to receive $200,000 cash each. A total of 1,106,030 other Powerball players won prizes amounting to $6,967,548 during the Saturday draw.
